House of Gardens is envisioned as an urban sanctuary, crafted within the tight constraints of a dense city plot yet abundant in its connection to nature. The design reimagines vertical living through a sequence of cascading terraces, each conceived as an extension of the rooms they adjoin. These terraces act as elevated gardens—private green pockets that blur the boundaries between architecture and landscape, giving the home its distinctive identity.

The west-facing overhangs serve a dual purpose: they reinforce the cascading terrace expression while shielding interiors from the harsh summer sun, yet welcoming low winter light deep into the home. Materiality strengthens the inside–outside connection. Stone cladding on the façade continues seamlessly into the interiors, softened by lush planting and the warmth of wood. At the core, a stone-clad staircase wall rises through the house, acting as a light well illuminated by a skylight above—creating a dramatic play of light and shadow throughout the day.

Together, these elements create a residence where nature is not an afterthought but an architectural driver—where terraces become gardens, light becomes a sculpting force, and materiality anchors the home in warmth and continuity. House of Gardens stands as a quiet retreat within the city, offering layered experiences of light, landscape, and vertical living.
