The masterplan is anchored in the intent to foster interdisciplinary collaboration, create state-of-the-art learning environments, and significantly enhance the campus’s green cover. A rich network of social, communal, and recreational facilities forms the backbone of campus life.
Corridors are envisioned as social spines—generous, shaded connectors that encourage informal interaction between students and faculty. These in-between zones extend learning into everyday movement, while buildings raised on stilts leave the ground plane open and flexible for outdoor classrooms, workshops, gatherings, and shaded play. Classrooms cluster around open courts, with buildings grouped like a small village linked by exterior corridors. Pathways sequence a progression of intimate courts culminating in a large, shaded sunken court at the campus heart. Here, a paved plaza—framed by tree groves—forms an informal amphitheatre and elevates the prominence of the library, the intellectual and symbolic centre of the campus.
In essence, the masterplan envisions a campus where climate, landscape, and community work in harmony—an environment that nurtures interdisciplinary exchange, strengthens ecological resilience, and embeds learning within everyday experience. By weaving together collaboration, sustainability, and a strong sense of place, the campus becomes a living framework that will evolve with its users, fostering a culture of openness, interaction, and shared growth for generations to come.
